How long should I boil corn?
Bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
Add the peeled corn on the cob.
Cover and return to a boil.
Cook for 5-7 minutes.
Can you cook canned corn in the oven?
While many people roast corn that’s still on the cob, you can also roast canned corn quite easily. After draining away the excess water, place the corn in a single layer on a baking sheet. Insert the baking sheet in the oven about 6 inches under the broiler.

Look for tassels (those things sticking up out of the top) that are brown and sticky to the touch. If they’re dry or black, then it’s an old ear of corn. Check out the color of the husk. If it’s a bright green and tightly wrapped against the cob, then the corn is fresh.
